Dear Readers,
We have all heard the jubilant message of the Christmas angel: Good tidings of great joy to all people!
How different this New Testament Good News from most of the angelic messages of the Old Testament.
Joy, peace, goodwill toward men ó these hopeful words truly are good news. How could the shepherds have fully comprehended them? How could they have understood that a baby born in a manger could reconcile them, and us, with our Creator?
This Christmas as we consider Joy, let us remember that it is not a feeling to be unpacked along with the decorations stored in the attic. Rather, it is the quiet assurance of a solid relationship with our Heavenly Father that allows us peace even when our days and our lives are in turmoil. He offers joy ó a great hope,
in spite of our circumstances.
We wish you this kind of joy, and we hope that we will
be privileged in some way to help you and those you love deepen your relationships with the Baby of the Manger, the
God of the Universe.
